This Privacy Policy explains how InkWell Apparel (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit inkwellapparel.net or place an order with us. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What information we collect

• Order details: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the products you order.
• Your designs: artwork, images and text you upload or create in our designer, so we can print your order.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login email and order history.
• Messages: information you send us through the contact or quote forms, or by email.
• Technical data: basic information such as your browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies.

We do not see or store your full card number. Payments are processed securely by WooPayments (powered by Stripe).

How we use your information

• To process, print, ship and support your order.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your questions.
• To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
• To improve our products and website.
• To send you news or offers, only if you agree to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We only share the information needed to complete your order, with trusted service providers:

• Payment processing: WooPayments / Stripe.
• Shipping: Canada Post, which receives your name, address and phone number to deliver your package.
• Website hosting and email services that help us run the store.

We never sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your designs and artwork

We use the files you upload only to produce your order. We do not use or share your designs for any other purpose without your permission. You confirm that you have the right to use any artwork you send us.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep your cart, remember your login and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.

Anonymous usage statistics. To improve our website and our online designer, we count how the site is used: for example how many visitors open the designer, which tools are used and at which step visitors stop. These counts are anonymous. They contain no names, email addresses, IP addresses, pictures or texts of your designs, they do not use cookies, and they are not shared with or sent to any other company.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (generally up to 7 years under Canadian rules). Uploaded artwork is kept so you can reorder, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

How we protect your information

Our website uses a secure (SSL) connection, and access to your information is limited to people who need it to fulfil your order.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing emails. Just email info@inkwellapparel.net. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Our store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the date it was updated.
